Program Description

Tampa Bay Girls Academy is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.

Tampa Bay Girls Academy high-risk program provides youth intensive medical, intensive mental health, borderline intellectual functioning, and behavioral/mental health, and substance abuse services. A youth’s length of stay is determined by the youth's assessed risk to reoffend, their progress in reducing applicable criminogenic needs and risk factors, and the completion of their individualized treatment plan.

Tampa Bay Girls Academy max-risk program provides youth intensive medical, intensive mental health, borderline intellectual functioning, and behavioral/mental health, and substance abuse services. The designated length of stay for a youth is 18 to 36 months.
